Back and Neck Relief From a Chiropractor? Denver Chiropractors Can Help
A recent study published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics reported that chiropractic care utilized to manage neck pain experienced by veterans resulted in successful pain reduction for the majority of the veterans treated with consistent chiropractic care.
The researchers in the study evaluated 54 cases where veterans experiencing and complaining of significant neck pain received treatment at a Veterans Health Administration medical center.
Over 60% of the patients experienced significant and meaningful relief from their pain after receiving less than 9 chiropractic treatments. Those suffering from neck pain should seriously consider utilizing the services of a chiropractor. Denver Chiropractor Rene Oubre has experienced similar results; “Chiropractic care has always been effective for the relief of pain – acute and chronic – from injuries, surgery and repetitive motion. Most muscular and skeletal pain complaints can be helped with chiropractic care, and when combined with acupunture, symptom relief is often accelerated and enhanced.” Dr. Oubre stated.
Denver Chiropractor Dr. Rene Oubre also recommends exercise in relieving back pain.
While most people who suffer from chronic back pain are ideal candidates for chiropractic care. Adding exercise activities to chiropractor treatment have shown some additional limited benefits for those suffering from chronic back pain. Pilates and yoga are two activities that may contribute to back pain relief. Studies have shown with adults suffering from chronic lower back pain, 12 weeks of yoga led to a small but clinically significant improvement in their ability to perform everyday activities. Of course exercise is not a replacement for treatment from chiropractors. Denver chiropractor Rene Oubre can help you today if you are in need of chiropractic care.
